Keeping Our Community Safe – Stay Vigilant

Please look out for:

Unknown individuals loitering or repeatedly walking past properties

People trying door handles or looking into windows

Unfamiliar vehicles parked for long periods or acting suspiciously

Anyone claiming to be working in the area without clear identification

Crime prevention advice:

Always lock doors and windows, even when at home

Use exterior lighting, especially motion-sensor lights

Keep valuables out of sight from windows

Ensure sheds, garages, and outbuildings are securely locked

Consider using timers on lights if you are away to make your home appear occupied

Avoid sharing holiday or absence details publicly on social media

If you have CCTV or doorbell cameras, ensure they are working and positioned correctly

If you notice anything suspicious, please report it as soon as possible:

In an emergency or if a crime is in progress: call 999

For non-emergencies: call 101 or report online via the police website
